An amazing stand-alone movie, but a terrible "sequel" to Cloverfield. The suspense and atmosphere of this movie was amazing, but the ending was lackluster. It's like they had a normal good movie, but had to have "Cloverfield" in the title for some reason and therefore had to shove a monster into the end of the movie.
The only connection between this movie and Cloverfield is that they both involve unexplained monsters.
