Review of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) by Tyler W — 28 Jul 2016

While not directly a sequel to the Cloverfield film, it has its own unique feel on its own. Revolving around the narrative of a supposed post-apocalyptic world, the three main characters are challenged to live life underground with varying consequences.

Particularly driven by their own fears, especially of what lies above, they confront both the past and their present situation. Although the ending feels rushed, the claustrophobic and suspense-filled atmosphere certainly help this film stand out from other films of the same genre.
