Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Cassandrat — 14 Dec 2021
12 Angry Men is an interesting and complete movie. This film is not the type of films that I watch in general... But I liked it because it's diversified and represents a lot of different subjects. The good actors that they are, like Henry Fonda, play very well their role.
The film shows us that it can be complicated to take an important decision, when we are not the only concerned person. Indeed, throughout the film, with the different points of view of the 12 jurors, we ask us what will be the verdict of the accused, that creates an interesting plot for the spectators ! Also, there are a lot of biblical comparaisons that show us the believer aspect of the american society at this time.
So, this film is interesting, because it stages different themes and aspects of the american society in the late fifties, and especially the fact to know to live in society and take decisions together.
