As an old Army officer that spent 2 years in the sandbox, I was struck by the visceral authenticity of the experience they presented. I had also watch the 5 part interview, and the movie is absolutely consistent with the story they told.
Michael Bay did a great job brining to life without getting bogged down in the politics of it.
