Every cliche, head actor amazingly makes it out alive, characters die that aren't important to the story, Russian guy probably offended every Russian due to the stereotype. The modern story of Noah seems a bit far fetched.

Reality, everyone would die, maybe 1 or 2 people might end up on an island if there was one but you have to ask, if the earth's core is dissolving, why isn't the ocean boiling? You just have to suspend reality for this I understand, but the corny acting, the female lead doesn't give the audience any love or interest in her.

I expect more from Cusack, but I guess a paycheck is a paycheck.
