Review of 3 Days to Kill (2014) by Kyle C — 26 Jul 2015
Ok, that was definitely more than 3 days so not quite sure what the title is supposed to mean, but anyways, as for the ending, (minor spoiler) was the shot working, or not, because what he does with it doesn't really explain anything.
The action is good, when it's there, and the story is dramatic and somewhat decent. Kevin Costner who I don't usually prefer isn't all that bad, but he has no emotion whether it be happy, sad, anxious, hurt, nothing, he's just kind of bland, but I'm guessing that's how he always is.
Now a big problem for me in this, was the daughter, played by Hailee Steinfeld, I cannot believe that this girl was nominated for an Academy Award because she is awful, her facial expressions, her dialogue and just pretty much everything that she does in this, she is not good.
Overall it wasn't atrocious, it was just kind of all over the place. MILD RECOMMENDATION.
