Review of 30 Days of Night (2007) by Paul S — 28 Aug 2011
One of my all time favorites, 30 Days of Night was a refreshing take on the vampire based horror genre, it didn't have any of the homo-erotic, sensuality based undertones that are common with many vampire movies of the modern era.
Instead it takes you back to how such creatures were viewed before Bram Stoker wrote his masterpiece and changed these creatures from the monsters they were to the broody, beautiful enchanters in which most are now depicted.
