Review of 50 First Dates (2004) by Private U — 17 Aug 2013
Every time I watch this film, I notice the flaws but I still find a lot of enjoyment in it. The premise is great and surprisingly original about a woman who cant remember anything after a tragic accident and tries still to have a functioning relationship.
However, Adam Sandler is the love interest, so you can tell where this film went fast. It really depends on what half of the movie you decide to focus on. If you focus on Lucy, it's a rare gem. If the focus is on Henry, there really wont be anything to see.
As it stands, it really is a half movie.
