This is not the science fiction movie you are looking for. Yes it has some nice visuals at the beginning and end, but the majority of the movie is pretty bland visually. Acting is terrible. Somehow we're supposed to believe this young woman is going to play possum after they crash land and her parents are missing.
And that she learns enough English to communicate efficiently in the timeline shown in the movie is laughable. Put this one in the category of science fiction movies that shouldn't have been made. This is some misguided Last of Us, Jurassic Park, Nazis on the moon nonsense.
