Review of 7 Days in Entebbe (2018) by Andri K — 21 Jan 2019
Personally disagree with the rating here. The film expertly keeps the audience on edge, and manages to portray the siege with great realism. The final scene, with the much anticipated fire fight, although happening very quickly, is done with realism.
The fear felt by both the soldiers and hostage takers is expertly depicted, with the usage of a chorus of singers to set the final soundtrack empowering the viewer. Let it be noted, this film is not 'feel good' and is not a generic action film, instead being more for those interested in history, and historical action films such as 6 days and Siege of Jadotville'.
