Review of A Fantastic Woman (2017) by Pasha A — 24 Mar 2018
Very well acted. For some reason I found it a bit too slow. I normally am not bothered by that, but this one kind of dragged on. I feel the one thing I found hard to grasp was how long they were together.
Never really alludes to that, so had a bit of issue feeling overly sympathetic to the situation in terms of her not having the support of the family. Some very uncomfortable scenes that must be awful for anyone in that situation to have to endure in real life.
Poor thing never really seems to catch a break, but then comes through it stronger at end.
