Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by David A — 21 Sep 2017
This maybe's Aaron Sorkin's most predictable screenplay due to an early revelation about Jack Nicholson's character, but that's besides the point. "A Few Good Men" is an extraordinary piece that captures the drama of court when the prosecutor and the defense attorney try to find answers through their witnesses.
Like all other Sorkin's scripts, his writing is top notch due to his smartly written dialogue and fleshed out characters. Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, and the rest of the cast shine and delivered powerful performances that will surely be remembered for years to come.
If it weren't for that revelation scene and the film's horrid score, this movie would have been a masterpiece.
