Review of A Ghost Story (2017) by Pierre C — 28 Jan 2018
This is an amazing movie. It's self-indulgently slow in parts (I had to fast-forward), but it is poignant and tragic. It is terse, trusting the viewers' intelligence. The dénouement is powerful. I love the way the time lapse scenes are smooth, concise and evocative.
The couple's relationship is realistic, something we can relate to. So much is unspoken.
