Review of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014) by Jake A — 19 May 2017
Equally conventional and unconventional this Persian-language American vampire western looks absolutely gorgeous production wise and in terms of cinematography with the black and white working extremely well.
The cast though unknown to me were engrossing, the soundtrack is incredible (used to great effect in one particular scene especially) and even though it is more about atmosphere and the emotions of the characters over plot that didn't really bother me for the most part.
Glad I took the time to watch this and it is sure to be one I will visit once again.
