Review of A Perfect Getaway (2009) by Jacob W — 01 May 2015
A very good plot twist movie, I have to admit. The whole movie is really intense and intriguing, and from the beginning of it, you can feel that there will be some big plot twist that will change everything, and in this movie, the plot twist is actually quite brilliant and doesn't ruin the movie.
It makes it even better! The story is nothing special at first, a couple goes on their honeymoon, suddenly there's talk of some murderers and they begin suspecting people and whatnot, but after the 60 minute mark, it gets real good.
Like, really really good! The twist is well worth the wait! The characters are interesting and likeable, but by the end of the movie, your opinions might change... The acting is suprisingly good for a movie that is 'sort of a' slasher.
All in all, a great twist movie with good characterisation, but a cliche ending. Would recommend!
