Review of A Serious Man (2009) by Donnie B — 30 Jun 2016
The attention to detail and the entertaining script are enough to make the movie enjoyable. Though it ends suddenly, that appears to be the point: a mere snippet of these people's lives as Jews in the 60's.
I liked the idea that a lot happens to the main character before and after we meet him. Very entertaining film with an interesting perspective on life. It's probably even more meaningful for those who grew up in the Jewish community.
