In a Single Man we follow George around on the day he has decided to end his life. His lover died 8 months ago in a car accident while visiting family in Colorado. The movie takes place in the 1960's when being gay wasn't as excepted as it is today.
As we follow George throughout the day he starts to question his idea. He meets a handsome Spanish man outside the liquor store, he has a great dinner with his best friend Charley (whom is a woman) and finds out one of his students has a crush on him.
