Beautifully shot and beautifully acted by Firth and Moore, as you'd expect. Tom Ford, for his first film has done rather well. There's a classically, smooth, clean look to the film that you'd expect from a fashion designer which I absolutely loved. There are also little touches which help convey Firth's emotional state as the film progresses that I particularly liked.
Its a shame then that the ending for me just felt rather futile and too obviously ironic. A good first effort Mr Ford, but please try harder next time.
