Good enough to go see, even if you're not really into music movies. I had some doubts about whether Lady Gaga would be any good as an actress but she really came through. The Oscar for Shallow is obviously well deserved if anyone had any doubts.
The second half of the movie A star is born (as another star fades) isn't exactly a feel good movie, but the music kinda helps you through it, but not really, as the predictable story unfolds. Nice to see Gaga without all the extravagance, just as a solid singer. If you really don't like Lady Gaga then this movie won't be for you though.
