I might be a bit in the minority here, but "A Summer Place" to me is nearly unwatchable. I doubt you could find a more sappy and bland film. I never thought I'd say something like this, but...Sandra Dee comes off as the most professional performance.
If you must know the film is about young teen lovers: Sandra Dee and a terrible Troy Donahue as they fight for their right to...be young lovers.
