Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by Brian B — 18 Feb 2009
It's a shame this movie is overlooked, because it's extremely well-made and compelling. An excellent cast (yes, even Matthew McConaughey) and even better script make this film one to watch, and get caught up in. McConaughey delivers his best performance, especially his monologue towards the end. Definitely one to see and reflect upon...it has a lot to say.
P.S. It's hard to believe Joel Schumacher once actually made good films, but after Batman & Robin and The Number 23 he lost all credibility to me.
