Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by 511Andahalf — 07 Feb 2021
I will admit that this is a guilty pleasure for me. I really do like AVTAK and I think it works as much as it fails in some parts. Moore, despite his age, gives a good performance but is just too old for the part.
Zorin and May Day are one of the best villains in the whole series for sure. The theme song is a banger, and the action scenes are great, like the firetruck chase and finale on the Golden Gate Bridge.
The first half feels kind of cheap and boring, but the film really picks up during the second half.
