This was not a good movie. Oddly paced with weird pauses in conversations; oddly cropped during both action sequences and dialog; oddly low-budget looking special effects despite the high price tag.
A great waste of potential: Somehow the beloved source material, well-regarded director, and talented cast did not gel: This film was less than the sum of its parts.
