This movie was better than expected! It fell flat in some ways-- like lines not being funny that were clearly supported to be-- but ultimately underneath it was a touching love letter to, not just black girls, but to ALL girls.
I loved the spirit and the soul of this movie and loved that my daughter got to see it and it's lessons.
