Review of Abacus: Small Enough to Jail (2017) by Tim M — 01 Mar 2018
It's disgusting when you understand the scope of what the mortgage crisis did to America and not surprising that the only ones prosecuted were Chinese-Americans. 'Abacus: Small Enough to Jail' is another gem from documentarian Steve James, but unlike his last masterpiece, 'Life Itself' which brought you to tears, this one will make you angry.
It's a good story, and well-filmed and unusual in that you end up rooting for the bank. Final Score: 7.9/10.
