First of all: the descripton above does totally not say what this movie is all about. Sets wrong expectations.
It's not excellent but is well worth a TV night. I think that's Duff's most serious role I have seen so far. And Ellen Burtyn and Melissa Leo (very small part) can't make anything wrong. It's difficult to say anything about the plot without revealing too much. In a way, it's about how bad memories from the part can take control over your life. It's about family. About growing up. Try it.
