Ad Astra is a unique and rare film in which the theme makes you think about our own existence. The story takes you into a world of emptiness and silence and that is exactly where the power lies. You felt tension at the right moments without the need for exaggerated music or action.
This film brought everything it needed in its own way and had a nice balance between the personal quest of the protagonist and the underlying theme.
