Review of Adventures of Don Juan (1948) by Jeff D — 24 Apr 2011
Errol Flynn takes the easiest role of his career in the cheesy romp Adventures of Don Juan. What makes the film so memorable is the brilliant score by Hollywood's first legendary composer, Max Steiner.
Steiner's score takes the average story, average acting, and average directing to a higher level. Adventures of Don Juan is the perfect example of the power of the musical score. It's also Sloth's favorite movie.
