In spite of all the negative reviews floating around, Agent Vinod is not half as bad as the buzz seems to be. Yes it is excruciatingly slow at times and the occasional tip of the hat to good old Bollywood masala may not be up everybody's alley.
But as a serious spy film from Bollywood, this stands on its own and looks credible without going too overboard. Not quite Johny Gaddar material from Sriram Raghavan, but decent enough.
