Great actors and writers can only make a story about a shoe so interesting. Let’s be real. There are no stakes here. If not for the Air Jordan, Nike would have made another shoe and Jordan would have signed with another shoe company.
Shoes would still exist. The story is well told, and does tell you some truths about how to negotiate and these products get made. I am glad that someone cares about how shoes look. And so this movie is good an interesting but not great nor essential.
