Review of Aladdin (2019) by Shajac19 — 31 May 2019

This live-action remake does a perfectly serviceable job in retracing the source material just like all other Disney remakes have done before it. However, while the new cast does a fairly good job, minus the watered-down Jafar, this movie fails to capture all the magic of the original and leaves you wanting more.

Will Smith portrays a fantastic Genie but his performance is hindered by the fact that its a slightly less interesting retread of Robin William's amazing original take on the character.
