Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) by Late R — 19 Aug 2017
It has one thing going for it: a memorable performance from Sacha Baron Cohen. Other than that, 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' is a very shallow film that fails to affect and lacks any magic or wonder that the first one may have had.
It's very flashy and there's a lot of VFX going on, but not much human drama or, indeed, anything else. It's a money grab and just feels so utterly pointless.
