Review of All Over Me (1997) by Codie E — 11 Jan 2008
The problems of this film begin with the script and make their way from there. Performances were jepodised by some duff lines; while moments of the film just felt embaressingly amateur. Which is a shame because there are some real emotions in here and the film really does have a personal touch to it (probably thanks to the sister's writer/director combo).
For better examples seek out European films Show Me Love (Fucking Amal) or Big Girls Don't Cry.
