Review of All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) by Andrew M — 04 Oct 2007
Despite the fact that the actor playing Paul is TERRIBLE and there's a bunch of stuff included that really seems out of place when compared to the novel (like having the characters praying to God- WTF?), this is may be the best WWI movie ever made.
The battle sequences stand up, even to this day.
