Review of All the Way (2016) by Rameshwar I — 06 Dec 2016
I have no interest in politics. Yet "All the Way" riveted me like no other political movie.
What's the best scene in this movie? Answer: There IS NO best scene. That's because any scene in "All the Way" is the best scene. Randomly pick any moment in this two-hour-plus movie, watch for the next five minutes and presto ... you've got your best scene.
Bryan Cranston deserves every acting award there is for his LBJ. In "Lincoln," I had to watch hard to detect any evidence of the actor Daniel Day-Lewis. In "All the Way," there is no trace of Bryan Cranston ... there is only Lyndon Baines Johnson on the screen. Cranston is that good.
Watch "All the Way." Enjoy. Savor. Rewatch. And that's an order.
