Review of An Autumn Afternoon (1962) by Brad S — 09 Oct 2015
Loved this final masterpiece from Yasujiro Ozu. He has such a distinct style, you can tell Wes Anderson get his "framing" from him. He essentially remade the same film several times dealing with family tensions, often with a daughter leaving the nest, but made it compelling and better each time out.
This is a MUST for serious film fans!
