Review of An L.A. Minute (2018) by David%20 G — 01 Sep 2018
Glad I didn't listen to the PC reviewers who failed to understand that the writers of this movie were equal opportunity offenders. This is a savage look at Hollywood, star making machinery, performance art, with a little dig at the #MeToo overreachers.
Gabriel Byrne and Kiersey Clemons are awesome and Bob Balaban nails his character perfectly. The idiot reviewers who didn't understand why the underbelly of L.A. was shown should be consigned to writing reviews of the Rock's next hundred movies.
This was one and a half hours of sheer enjoyment. Laughed my ass off.
