Review of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013) by Franz H — 12 Nov 2015
Everything is dialed up to 11 once again with the character of Ron Burgundy where humour has no subtlety. The satire of 24 hour news networks was well worked into this film. There are enough funny moments to qualify as a success but only just.
Some moments fall incredibly flat- the scene where Ron has dinner with his black girlfriend's family springs to mind. It is a commendable follow-up effort but not much more.
