Review of Annabelle (2014) by Johnbobs1 — 22 Jan 2021

I was expecting Annabelle to at least be jumpy and a little scary. It certainly tries to be, and even makes attempts to give itself and it characters good background stories. But it fails miserably. The acting is dreadful, characters are hollow and poorly thought out and the "scares" are predictable and therefore non existent.

A dreadful B movie style prequel to the far superior conjuring.
