Review of Annabelle: Creation (2017) by Lisa D — 11 Aug 2017
The best part of this movie was the trailer for "It" before this dog started. There were ZERO scares and the acting was just horrible. Poor Anthony LaPaglia's sole direction seemed to be "be a creep", which if the case, he did a standout job.
The special effects were tired and predictable. And my number one problem with this entire series has been the doll. It is unbelievable that anyone would want that doll. It is hideous. If the doll was a cute, innocent looking baby doll (or Raggedy Ann), the movie would be far better.
This doll is so ugly that of course it's evil. Too bad The Conjuring saddled the entire series with that doll.
