Despite being an animated film, Anomalisa feels as real as possible, thanks to how the characters behave and develop, while everything else is meticulously detailed, even how they speak, to make it feel as human-like as possible.
Simply just a perfect portrait of loneliness and how everyone is looking for that unknown factor that'll give them the feeling of having something exclusive and special.
