A very different sort of Marvel movie, first movie not about an Avenger. Last film in Phase 2. Michael Peña and Paul Rudd are hilarious. It's always the bald guy, gotta watch out for them. Scott Lang is a cat burglar just trying to get through life and get enough money to get child support to see his little girl, when on a job robbing an old man's safe in the basement he finds a suit in it, little does he know he just stole the Ant-Man suit from Dr. Pym (former Ant-Man known for his work at SHIELD on a formula that can shrink organic particles such as humans called the "Pym Particle"). Now that he has the suit, Dr. Pym and Scott work together and Scott is now the Ant-Man basically. It has a very good father-daughter message. It's hard to take the emotional parts seriously when the movie is all about tiny things and tiny people. The technology and CGI they used to make him look super small is incredible. Hydra is back again, looking to get the technology that Darren Cross (antagonist aka Yellow Jacket) has created. The fight sequence was kind of hilarious, and also cute haha.

Mid credit scene is Dr. Pym shows his daughter Hope van Dyne a prototype Wasp suit and offers it to her.

End credit scene is Rogers and Wilson with a contained Bucky Barnes in a warehouse, unable to contact Tony Stark because of certain accords, Wilson states that he knows a guy.

Stan Lee appears as a bartender in one of Luis' rambling stories.
