I think it works, there wasnï¿ 1/2(TM)t the same flash as larger DC or MCU characters. All in al I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed Black Panther, we need more diversity and more female characters that are strong on their own.
Jason Mamoa was the right choice for Aquaman man and embodies much of the same life as Arthur Curry/Auqaman, two cultures learning to coexist. Purist might not like the changes over the last few years of adapting comics to live action feels, there have been some hiccups for sure, Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m not a that picky nor that annoying.
I hope thereï¿ 1/2(TM)s a sequel.
