Review of Aquaman (2018) by Zack B — 26 Dec 2018

I have been a die hard Aquaman fan for my entire life. I have collected comics and even gotten my wife interested in the character and Mera. The DCEU, however, has disappointed me a lot. I liked Man of Steel somewhat and Wonder Woman was okay, but I didn't like how the gods were dealt with, especially Ares. That being said, I had low expectations for this movie.

When I got the chance to see it, I was absolutely blown away. This movie is incredible from start to finish and they have done an excellent job building this world and it's characters. I will be seeing it multiple times in theaters and probably pre-ordering the Blu Ray. I hope the critics don't ruin this movie's potential for a sequel. Either way, I count this movie as a major win, not just for Aquaman fans, but for fans of adventure fiction everywhere.
