Review of Arrival (2016) by Alex R — 21 Jul 2017
After putting off watching this several times I was slightly pleasantly surprised. It's difficult to properly review it as it has a good first half followed by a not so good second half. In truth, Renners character doesnt become relevant until about an hour in.
And his final line in the movie is cringeworthy. Near the end I started losing interest as it became a bit daft......and the flashbacks were getting annoying, although they were necessary. Definitely not a Saturday evening popcorn and wine movie.
....but worth watching.
