Review of Assassin's Creed (2016) by Blake R — 12 Dec 2017
As a fan of the series that this movie is based on, I must say that after seeing this film in the theatre I was disapointed. The narrative is often clouded and difficult to follow and every character speaks in raspy and whispery voices which gets nausiating by the end of the film. The characters are unlikable, and the lighting of most scenes make the movie look dirty, which judging by said scenes should not have been the point.
One good thing I can say is that this movie has some very fine establishing shots.
