Review of Avatar (2009) by The3Academysins — 12 Feb 2020
It is commonly debated in film circles as to why the most financially successful movie of all time had so little cultural impact. The reason is simply that despite awe-inspiring, jaw dropping special effects, the screenplay of Avatar is completely unoriginal, and it hasn't aged well at all.
It's the story of Dances With Wolves or Pocahontas or Fern Gully in space. That said, I still find this movie to be very enjoyable to watch, even if it is very simplistic.
