Before even talking about the movie itself, the atmosphere it created at the cinema was so friendly and fun. You could tell who was going to watch Barbie based on what they were wearing. Inside the screen, it felt comfortable and our audience was laughing together.

The movie itself takes a whimsical approach to deconstructing patriarchal issues and idealising a world run by women. It was only at one point towards the resolve of the movie that this narrative was lost on me, but it picked right back up afterwards.

I would 100% watch again. It was Kenough for me.
