Review of Barry (2016) by Kyle M — 02 Apr 2017
It's inferior to its supplemental, yet unrelated production-wise successor "Southside with You", with a similar and "accurately-differing" narrative, due to the feeling of hollowness at a unique balance of bland spikes that can be seen as a realistic pace during Obama's start in college with a taste of his well-known inspiring morality. It's enjoyably relatable on the role of college education and how reflective the years are for an individual, and Devon Terrell's performance, the second actor to portray Obama before his historical presidency, demonstrated that exceptionally, and charismatically, with a fresh insight. (B+).
