Basic, wasn't so basic! It was more confusing and complex than anything! After awhile, you have no idea which story to believe, and ultimately no idea what is real or not. It was an interesting movie with more then enough twists and surprises.
Travolta had decent acting going, same with Sam Jackson and everyone else. An intricate, confusing story about a murder that happens during a basic training routine. That is what the viewer is led to believe in the beginning anyway! (dont want to ruin anything) Pretty unique and all around pretty enjoyable.
3-even starz for Basic. Cool seeing Travolta and Jackson together again since Pulp Fiction.
